Sonshine Farm Pet Lodge

 Dear Cindy and Dan,
Louie and I would like to thank you for all your loving care you have given to our Hudson over the years. It is hard to believe he is already eight years old and I think his first stay with you he was just one year old. Sonshine Farm has been the best place we could ever have discovered through our dear friends and their dog Otis. We have traveled near and far over the years and we consider Sonshine Farms to be Hudson’s second home. You are kind, loving, caring and pay attention to details. Louie and I never worry while away and in your care and wish we could start traveling once again but that will have to wait until Covid is under control. 🤞Hope to see you soon, Dan and Cindy you are the best of the best!

For the last six years, we have had our two Labrador retrievers cared for by Cindy and Dan at Sonshine Farms. We have been traveling extensively during this period, sometimes four or more times per year, and for as long as a month or so.  Our dogs love it there.  They have a small farm like setting with several acres which is all enclosed with fencing.  The dogs can run the farm area with the other dogs and get lots of exercise.  We never worry about them when traveling knowing they are having as much fun as we are.

Sonshine Farm is the best boarder I've found in the Puget Sound area, I was looking for a place where my dogs would be happy to go. I hated to look at their sad little faces when I left. Sonshine is a place they truly enjoy and the staff treats them as part of their family. Love this place!!!!

We have been taking our dogs to Sonshine farm for 20 years.  We have had two goldens over the years and if there was no Cindy and Dan we would be sunk!  Their place is so beautiful and spacious!  They are both so caring and loving that I feel like they are family.  We have seen their boys grow up and leave home.

If you are looking for someone to look after your dog as if it was part of the family then you should leave your precious family member with Cindy and Dan. They looked after my dog Tex for many years and he loved it there. He would get out of the car and he would run around their large property with his tail wagging. I could leave him at Sonshine Farm Pet Lodge and know that he was happy, safe and cared for.  That kind of peace of mind is hard to find. Please be reassured that Cindy and Dan are the best dog carers in the area. Don’t hesitate to book your pet as a guest in their home.

Leaving Jet and Coal with Sonshine Farm is like leaving our pups with family. We live in West Seattle and it's always been well worth the drive out to know that our pups are being loved and cared for in this special place. We've left them with Cindy and Dan at times for more than three weeks while we had longer vacation plans and never thought twice about it. I'd consider us particular when it comes to our dog's care, especially as they're aging, and  Sonshine has always exceeded our expectations in the way they care for our guys.
Our little guys probably wish we'd vacation without them more often!

 We have been blessed to find Sonshine Farms for our sweet America Eskimo named Bella!  So much fenced area on their property to run and play and to have fun with other dogs.  At night the dogs sleep in an area just for them in the downstairs of their home.

Bella knows when we turn down the driveway to their home and is so excited to get out of our car to greet the family.  She is always reluctant to leave them!

This is most certainly a home away from home for her.

 I started using Sonshine Farm when my golden retriever was only a few months old - that was 13 years ago.  He spent so much time at the farm and with the family that it was his perfect "second home".  I knew Huckleberry loved being there because he would get excited when he realized where we were going and would jump out of the car to greet everyone.  He would always run the property to make sure everything was in order from his last visit!  When we were on long trips, Cindy would often send me photos of Huck in the snow, chasing a ball, snuggling with humans and other dog friends - anything that was fun and she knew I would enjoy seeing.  I never worried that Huck was in great care and was always happy to visit the farm.  Over the years I recommended Sonshine Farm to several friends who were just as picky as I was about where to leave their pet.  Every person I sent to the farm reported that their dog loved it just as much as Huck.

Our dogs Lola and Magnus have had the luxury of being guests at Sonshine Farms for years now! Cindy and Dan do an amazing job taking care of our beloved pooches. The facility is beautiful and the dogs are treated with such love. We never have to worry about our dog’s care when work or vacation takes us out of town. We appreciate the small, intimate, and non-commercial setting, as do Magnus and Lola! Cindy and Dan are very accommodating and we haven’t hesitated in recommending Sonshine farms to others.
